Bielerhohe pass

The BielerhöhePass, at an elevation of 2.071m (6,794ft) above the sea level, is a high mountain pass in the Austrian Alps between the Bundesländer of Vorarlberg and Tyrol. The pass connects Montafon (in Vorarlberg) and the Paznaun valley (in Tyrol). The pass is traversed by the Silvretta Hochalpenstraße High Alpine Road. The surface of the road is asphalt. The pass is closed to normal traffic from November to April. To get the summit, from Bludenz, the Bielerhöhe ascent is 35 km long. The average percentage is 3.8 %, and the elevation gain is 1.346 meters. At the top of the pass there are several restaurants and hotels.
