Brasina is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.873m (6,145ft) above the sea level, located in south-eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Definitely it’s one of the best off – road experience in the country. Due to hazardous area (mine fields) do not hike or ride outside of the dirt road. The climb is very steep, with sections up to 14%.
The road to the summit is very steep. The off-road trip involves some sections that are at a significant incline, with 24 hairpin turns. Starting from Mostar, a city in in south-eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, at 177m above the sea level, the ascent is 23.4 km long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 1.696 meters. The average gradient is 7.24% with sections up to 14%. Driving along the road you can see the remains of two Austro-Hungarian fortresses, “Fortica” and “Merdžan Glava”.
