Col du Lautaret is a high mountain pass in the department of Hautes-Alpes in France. It marks the boundary between the valleys of the Romanche and the Guisane, a tributary of the Durance which has its source at the col. The valleys are linked by national route 91. The average percentage is 3.1 %. Starting from Le Clapier, by the D1091, the ascent is 34.16 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 1.312 meters. The average percentage is 3.8 %. And starting from Saint Martin d’Arc, by the D902, the ascent is 41.8 km long. This side includes climbing the Galibier before the Lautaret.
