Ofenpass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.149m (7,051ft) above the sea level, located in the most eastern corner of Switzerland, in the canton of Graubünden. The pass is known with several names: Fuorn Pass, Ofen Pass, Ofenpass, Passo del Forno, Passo del Fuorn… The name is based on the ovens that were used in ironworks in the area. The ruins of these ovens can still be seen from nearby trails. The asphalted road over the pass connects Zernez in the Engadin valley with Val Müstair, crossing the Schweizerischer Nationalpark, the only Swiss National Park.
There are 2 routes to reach the summit. Starting from Zernez, the ascent is 21.6 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 676 meters. The average percentage is 3.1 %. Starting from Glorenza, the ascent is 28 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 1.229 meters. The average percentage is 4.4 %.
INSTRUCTIONS
Once you have finished positioning the stickers where you want them, you need to set them using heat. Set your hair dryer to the high heat setting. Hold the nozzle approximately 15 to 20 centimeters away from the sticker and move it slightly to ensure the heat is distributed evenly. Apply heat to the area for 30 to 45 seconds. Caution: If the sticker is applied to delicate plastic, hold the hair dryer at a greater distance and use a medium heat setting to avoid warping or melting the surface.
